St Andrews offers a range of spacious rooms across our three facilities in Ballina and Byron Bay, designed to meet the care needs of all our residents. Our modern homes provide for privacy, activities and social engagement, assisted mobility and movement, personal care, and access to a complete range of health care professionals.

Residents are offered a variety of options for each meal by our professional catering service and may take meals in the comfort and privacy of their room but are encouraged to enjoy the ‘dining experience’ in our dining rooms with others. Other facilities include a café, chapel, library, salon and in-house cinema and we offer a laundry, mail and newspaper service.

Allied health services offered on-site include a podiatrist, physiotherapist, speech therapist and dietitian. Optical and dental services can be arranged when needed and a pharmacist visits the facility daily.

Regular outings are a unique feature of St Andrews, with residents enjoying the use of a custom-designed bus with wheelchair access.

Recently refurbished and modernised, St Andrew’s Village Ballina was established in 1983 and has been giving the highest standard of care for people needing full-time nursing, dementia and personal care support. Long term (permanent) and short term (respite) residency is catered for in our facility.

At St Andrew’ Village Ballina residents enjoy the beautiful gardens, courtyards and spacious, comfortable rooms. Other facilities include a café, chapel, library, salon and in-house cinema and we offer a laundry, mail and newspaper service.

Our recently renovated Residential Aged Care Facility in Byron Bay features 40 beds in a modern and comfortable setting. The facility prioritises practicality and convenience, ensuring residents have access to necessary amenities while enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of Byron Bay.

Our dedicated caregiving team focuses on personalised care, promoting a strong sense of community among residents. The refurbishment reflects our commitment to providing a practical and supportive living environment for the elderly in this beautiful coastal town.

Drawing inspiration from its beachside community lifestyle, much consideration has been given to incorporating the unique qualities of coastal living into the facility. Open views from the living spaces capture familiar coastal breezes at Byron Aged Care, providing human connections with nature.

Residents are both encouraged and supported to assist with daily chores, such as gardening, preparing some meals, and are involved in their own decision making process as much as possible. Importantly, the residents enjoy freedom of movement in a safe and secure environment.
