Vicki Knudson
My interest in St Andrews began in 2008 when I began a five-year appointment as PA to the then CEO. This was a most rewarding period as, apart from gaining insight into the Aged Care Industry and its role in supporting the most vulnerable in society, I became very fond of the residents and staff. Upon retirement, I produced the History of St Andrews to mark their 30 th Anniversary in 2013. Learning about the dedication of those who began fundraising in 1973 to build the nursing home was inspirational. Both these experiences resulted in my long- time, heartfelt connection with St Andrews and its ongoing story. I feel privileged to serve on the Board and making a contribution towards ensuring the care and wellbeing of all who are part of the St Andrews’ community.
