Dear Families and Visitors
The NSW Government has made changes to the Public Orders that affect aged care facilities. A summary of these changes are as follows:

It is not a requirement to have an up to date vaccination against influenza if a visitor is making a care and support visit to a resident. For example families making a visit would be deemed care and support

The density rule still applies to all rooms and on average rooms are 20 sqm therefore a maximum of 4 person in a residents room including the resident. That is 3 visitors at one time

The number of visits per day is now unlimited per day. Visiting times are Mon-Fri 9am – 6pm and Weekends 9am – 5pm

The screening of visitors and staff will continue at the one entrance available at this time.

Social distancing and hand hygiene will continue to help protect the residents

Common areas are open to visitors. Please adhere to the density signage ie number of persons permitted in the space at one time.

Undoubtedly there will be changes to the Public Health Order commensurate with the circumstances. These will be published as quickly as possible.
Thank you for your adherence to the Public Order and St Andrews management directions. As this will reduce the resident’s risk of being infected by the CoVID-19 virus.

Update for Sydney
If you have been to the Sydney area, excluding Blue Mountains, Wollongong and Central Coast, after and including December 11, you must provide a negative COVID test and must wear a mask to enter the facility.

If you are a resident of Sydney and have been outside the area prior to 11 and can provide evidence to support you may enter the facility and no mask required.
