Dear Residents, Family and Visitors,
St Andrews has been monitoring the Northern Rivers CoVID-19 community acquired infection rate, including the number of tests performed in this region. To date, there has been zero community acquired infections for a lengthy period of time, apart from an isolated event from return travelers from Sydney. This event was closely managed by the Public Health Unit and was contained.

We have also been monitoring the infection rates for CoVID-19 in Sydney, Victoria and Brisbane. Due to the fluidity of the infection rates in the Brisbane areas and Sydney St Andrews is taking a precautionary step by introducing the following conditions when entering the facility. These are as follows:
1. All visitors must wear a face covering or mask – Please bring your own as St Andrews will NOT be supplying coverings or masks.
2. All visits must be within the residents room
3. Visit times and number of visitors are as follows:
a. 2 visitors at one time only
b. Maximum of 2 visits per day (eg 1-2 visitors in the morning and 1-2 in the afternoon)
c. Maximum visit time is 1 hour per visit

Visiting hours Monday to Friday 9am – 6pm and on Weekends 9am  to 5 pm

These changes will commence at 6pm on Friday 7th August 2020

All visitors must:
a. Maintain social distancing of 1.5m
b. Maintain hand hygiene
c. Provide accurate information when being screened at the front entrance

If a visitor is from outside the Northern Rivers geographical region they will be required to complete a declaration. These will be available at the reception desk at the facility.
Thank you for your understanding
