Rostering and Administration Clerk
St Andrews Village, Ballina, an independent not for profit aged care provider, has been serving the Norther Rivers region for 34 years. Essential to providing that care is having the right staff rostered on – the key outcome for this role.
This is a demanding role with plenty of challenges. You will be providing customer service, manage the roster and assist in some administration role. You’ll be dealing mostly with staff to maintain staff roster. At times it will involve juggling several tasks at once and using your problem solving skills to prioritise solutions.
Essential to your success in this role is your attention to detail, interpersonal and communication skills, together with excellent time management and organisational skills. You will have the ability to maintain a smooth operation, find solutions to the unexpected challenges that arise and readjust priorities as needed.
Key capabilities required:
Strong computer skills in Excel, Word and Outlook and using databases.
Experience with staff rostering
Be a confident and skilled communicator, able to engage and motivate staff
A problem solver with the ability to think outside the box
Have a positive approach to life and work with a passion for helping people.
Possess a resilient and “do what it takes” attitude.
Experience within aged or community care a definite advantage.
Additional requirements include a willingness to undergo a National Police Clearance and be able to work Monday to Friday. St Andrew’s offers above award wages, generous Salary Sacrifice options and a professional and supportive environment.
